Q and E pivot the craft without killing your speed the way the main brake does. Tap the inside brake through every corner and your lap times drop hard.
The glowing strips on the track surface are speed pads. Line them up. A good lap chains them together instead of grabbing one at random.
On climbing tracks like Ghost Cross and the Behemoth, ease off over a crest so you do not launch off your line. Catch the air, then power down.
Twitchy circuits reward grip. Long open tracks reward top speed. The hangar shows every team's speed, accel, grip and shield.
Shift sidesteps fire and traffic. A clean pass keeps your shield up. Trading paint into a wall is how a podium becomes fourth.
